Collect items to increase that family's share and spawn weight. Every X collected items triggers a discovery: mostly same-family, with up to 10% chance to branch to the next objective family (based on family share). Each compression creates a random-family discovery. Buy upgrades to speed spawning and steer families, and avoid trap upgrades.
